Great news, 2 new Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting lists opened on Monday (June 15) in a few different states!

The waiting list opened on June 15, 2015 (at 12:00a.m.), and will close on June 29, 2015 (at 12:00a.m.)

Having the following documents of all members of the family are a MUST: SSN, your income, your full name and DOB!
The LMHA will select 8,000 applicants to the waiting list via a random lottery!

You will be notified of your waiting list status within sixty days after the list closes (in writing).

The waiting list opened on June 15, 2015 (at 6:00a.m.), and will close on June 29, 2015 (at 5:00p.m.)
It looks like the Boise City Housing Authority & Ada County Housing Authority will be working in tandem to issue these vouchers even though they are two separate Housing Authorities!
IMPORTANT NOTE: This opening is only available to those families in which the spouse or head of household is at least 62 years of age (or older); spouse or the head of household is disabled; or those families which have kids under 18. Please also keep in mind that only (1) application per household will be allowed, and applicants with duplicate entries may be disqualified!
