The Housing Authority of Bexar County is serving the cities and communities of Bexar County, San Antonio, Selma, Converse, Alamo Heights, Balcones Heights, Terrell Hills, Timberwood Park, Von Ormy, Windcrest, Lackland AFB, Leon Valley, Macdona, Olmos Park, Randolph AFB, St. Hedwig, Scenic Oaks, Shavano Park, Helotes, Hill Country Village, Hollywood Park, Kirby, China Grove, Cross Mountain, Elmendorf, Fair Oaks Ranch, Universal City, Castle Hills, Grey Forest, Live Oak, Cibolo, Somerset and Schertz.

The Housing Authority of Bexar County Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list opened on June 20, 2017 at 8 am, and is scheduled to close on July 20, 2017 at 11:59 pm (CST)
Good news: You can APPLY for this Section 8 Waitlist ONLINE using your computer, tablet or mobile device!
If you’re interested in applying, you can do so by accessing the online application page LOCATED HERE
This waiting list is not accepting paper applications and only online enrollment is available. If you don’t have internet access at home, you can use a computer at any public library in your city and submit an application from there.
Elderly and/or disabled applicants who need assistance in completing the online application can get assistance at the Housing Authority of Bexar County’s Central Office located at the following address: 1954 E. Houston Street, Suite 104, San Antonio TX 78202 (from 9:00 am – 11:00 am; and 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm during the time the application is open (June 20, 2017 – July 20, 2017), excluding holidays and weekends).

Those who apply will be placed on this waiting list by date/time their application was received by the Housing Authority of Bexar County, after sorting preferences (list of preferences and their definitions can be found here)
Please don’t submit more than 1 waitlist application per Registrant – all duplicate applications will NOT be accepted.
